Soccer Betting Markets
The draw changes everything — 1X2, goals, and handicaps.
Soccer is the world's most-bet sport, and its markets differ from US sports for one reason: the draw.
Three-way (1X2)
Most matches are priced home / draw / away, so the two win prices don't add to 100% — the draw takes a slice. Strong home favorites can still be poor value once the draw and handicap are weighed.
The other staples
- Both Teams To Score (BTTS): do both sides find the net? Priced off scoring and defending form, not who wins.
- Totals (over/under goals): usually around 2.5 — low-scoring leagues sit under, open matchups push over.
- Asian / European handicap: a goal head-start or deficit — soccer's version of a point spread, and what our model's pick'em handicap estimates.
- Outrights: win the league, top four, relegation — long-horizon season bets.
Because of the draw, value reads differently than in two-way sports. Watch the three-way split on our public betting chart, shop the price with line shopping, and see the de-vigged fair line on our Fair Value tool. New here? Start with how to read odds.
