1. Our approach
OddsExchange is a sports-odds data and analytics platform — not a sportsbook. We collect the minimum we need to run the service, and we do not sell your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. What we collect
Account data you give us: name/username, email, date of birth (for the 21+ check), phone, and avatar. Billing data handled by our processors (we don't store full card numbers). Usage & technical data collected automatically: IP address, device/browser type, pages and API endpoints used, request counts, and timestamps. Cookies for sign-in/session and basic, privacy-respecting analytics.
3. How we use it
To operate and secure the service; authenticate you and enforce plan limits and rate limits; process subscriptions; provide support; detect abuse and fraud; improve our tools and models in aggregate; and send service messages (receipts, security, and account notices). We send marketing email only where you've opted in, and you can opt out anytime.
4. We do not sell your data
We never sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third-party advertising networks for cross-site targeting. We share data only with service providers that help us run the platform — payment processors (Stripe, PayPal), email/notification delivery, hosting, and analytics — under contracts that limit them to our instructions. We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect rights and safety, and we may transfer it to a successor in a merger or sale of assets.
5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies (sign-in/session) and limited analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. You can block cookies in your browser, though sign-in features may stop working. We do not use third-party ad-targeting cookies.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under CCPA and GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to opt out of marketing, and — because we don't sell data — there is nothing to opt out of on that front. To exercise any right, contact us at the address below; we'll respond within the time the law requires. We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
7. Retention & security
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and security purposes, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no system is perfectly secure; you use the service at your own risk.
8. Children
The service is for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we delete it.
9. International & governing law
We operate from the United States and process data there; by using the service you consent to that transfer. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, consistent with our Terms & Conditions.
